About Me
I live in Oxford and have been painting, mainly in oils, for the past fifteen years. I began by (re)learning to draw at an evening class in an old farm outhouse – a wonderful experience! And I attended a WEA course on the science and history of colour in order to understand the materials better.
A passion for colour and the materiality of paint drives my practice, which has evolved through interaction with others, attending the huge variety of courses to be found nearby and lots of time in the studio.
I have exhibited locally at the Oxford Art Society Open exhibitions, the [erstwhile] Jam Factory and West Ox Arts.
